1: Advice

As a center of expertise, Evadoc aims to provide ongoing advice to Protestant and Evangelical churches, organizations, non-profits, and individuals with questions and issues regarding their archives. All aspects of modern archive management are covered. The best solution is sought with the relevant church, organization, or individual, potentially through an on-site visit. Evadoc is always reachable by phone, e-mail, or letter for questions and issues.

2: Training

Through the organization of study and meeting days, those managing Protestant and Evangelical heritage are given the opportunity to stay informed about developments at Evadoc, exchange experiences, and receive training in the care of archives and libraries. Workshops and lectures will clearly and practically present the basic principles of heritage management. More specialized topics, based on practical inquiries, may also be addressed.

All these activities will be announced in advance via the agenda.

3: Heritage

Evadoc maps Protestant and Evangelical heritage within its Flemish, Belgian, and international context. It also seeks to collect and make this heritage accessible. Through surveys and on-site research, archives, magazines, church bulletins, and audiovisual documentation (photos, film, video, audiocassettes, etc.) are actively sought in Protestant and Evangelical churches, communities, organizations, and non-profits.

4: Public Services

Through a broad range of initiatives, Evadoc seeks to raise awareness among the general public and the Protestant and Evangelical community that archives and publications help shape the identity of the people and communities involved. Additionally, Evadoc can collaborate on or provide the necessary support for local initiatives, such as exhibitions or the celebration of anniversaries.
